Welcome, Sis.

If you've found your way here, I don't believe it's by accident.
In fact, I believe there is a reason you're here, and perhaps that reason goes deeper than you realize. Maybe you've been searching for answers. Maybe you've been trying to understand why certain patterns keep repeating in your life, why healing feels just out of reach, or why, despite all you've accomplished and overcome, there's still a part of you that feels unseen, uncertain, or disconnected from who God created you to be.
If that's where you find yourself today, I want you to know something that I wish someone had told me years ago:
You are not as lost as you think you are.
You may feel disconnected from yourself. You may feel buried beneath responsibilities, disappointments, rejection, heartbreak, or the expectations of everyone around you. You may even find yourself wondering how you became a woman you barely recognize. But I have learned that when a woman loses sight of who she is, it is rarely because her identity is gone. More often, it has simply become covered.
Covered by pain.
Covered by fear.
Covered by survival.
Covered by the roles she's had to carry and the burdens she's had to bear.
The woman God created is still there...I know this because I've lived it myself.
There was a time in my own life when I found myself searching for answers, trying to understand why certain cycles seemed to repeat, why some wounds refused to heal, and why, despite loving God, I still felt the weight of things I couldn't seem to break free from. What I discovered was that God wasn't interested in giving me a temporary fix. He wanted to reveal the truth about who I was and who He had always created me to be.
That journey changed my life, and it is the reason I am so passionate about helping other women find their way back to themselves—not the version shaped by pain, rejection, or disappointment, but the woman God saw from the very beginning.

My name is Katina Shoni Freeman. I am a Kingdom Living Strategist, author, intercessor, transformational coach, and the founder of UnCovered and UnCovered Publishing. More importantly, I am a woman who has spent years sitting at the feet of Jesus, allowing Him to heal, restore, transform, and regenerate the areas of my life that desperately needed His touch.
One of my favorite pastimes is studying Scripture. I can spend months unpacking a single book of the Bible, verse by verse, because I've learned that there is always more beneath the surface than what first meets the eye. The same is true in our lives. Through years of studying God's Word and walking through my own healing journey, I have come to understand that God is never interested in just treating symptoms; He uncovers the root. Whether it's rejection, fear, shame, people-pleasing, or disappointment, He knows that lasting freedom comes when we allow Him to reveal and heal the source of the issue rather than simply cope with its effects.
That truth changed my life.
Over the years, my life has been shaped by experiences that challenged everything I thought I knew about faith, identity, purpose, and even God Himself. I have walked through seasons of heartbreak, disappointment, uncertainty, and profound transformation. I am also the proud mother of eight amazing children, most of whom are now adults, and some of life's greatest lessons have come through the privilege of raising them.
Among the most difficult experiences of my journey were two separate seasons in which I was unexpectedly kicked out of church. While those traumatic experiences were years apart and occurred under very different circumstances, both left me wrestling with questions, pain, and disappointment. The first time, I couldn't understand how people who were called to shepherd could kick people out of church. The second time, I understood that if God allowed this to happen to me twice that those pains were directly aligned with my purpose. Looking back, I can see that what felt like rejection was actually an invitation to step into a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him. Stewarding that relationship properly would usher me into discovering my identity in Him and His purpose and plans for me. Being kicked out of church pushed me into the Scriptures, into prayer, and into a level of dependence upon Him that ultimately transformed my life. What I thought was the end of something became the beginning of an entirely new understanding of identity, healing, and purpose. Sis, the pain from the pressing was necessary to produce the oil that would anoint the purpose. Let that minister to you.
During those seasons, He began showing me that healing wasn't the primary goal; identity was.
He began uncovering layers that had been hidden beneath years of responsibility, expectations, disappointments, and survival. Like many of you, I learned to live on cruise control in survival mode...it's exhausting.
He revealed patterns that had quietly operated in my family line for generations. He exposed areas of lack, fractured relationships, misplaced dependencies, and forms of worship that looked nothing like golden calves but still competed for the place that only He deserved to occupy in my heart.
As He healed me, He taught me something that has become foundational to everything I do today: most women don't need another empowerment conference. Most women don't need someone to tell them they are enough. What they need is to understand who they are and why they were created.
Many women know the Scripture that says they are fearfully and wonderfully made. Fewer women understand what it means to be created in God's image and in His likeness. Those are two very different revelations: one speaks to value; the other speaks to identity. It speaks to purpose, authority, stewardship, responsibility, relationship, and understanding who God intended you to be before life, trauma, rejection, disappointment, and the opinions of others tried to tell you otherwise. That revelation transformed my life, and it became the foundation of my assignment.
Today, through the UnCovered Program, I help women uncover the roots beneath the cycles that keep them stuck. Together, we identify the places where shame, rejection, fear, people-pleasing, performance, trauma, and disappointment have attempted to cover the identity God originally gave them.
Because at its core, UnCovered is not simply about healing:
It's about uncovering the woman underneath the wounds.
The woman underneath the shame.
The woman underneath the rejection.
The woman underneath the fear.
The woman underneath the church hurt.
The woman underneath the expectations.
The woman underneath the masks she learned to wear in order to survive.
The woman God knew before the foundations of the world.
As an intercessor, I am deeply passionate about teaching women how to pray effectively and see results. For years, I have led weekday morning prayer calls, prayer workshops, and On One Accord prayer walks on school campuses because I believe prayer is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. My desire is not simply to teach women how to pray more, but to help them understand how to pray with faith, authority, expectation, and confidence in the God who hears and responds.
Everything I do is rooted in what I call my Four E's of Edification: Encourage, Empower, Equip, and Enlighten. My mission is to encourage women who have grown weary, empower them to walk confidently in their God-given identity, equip them with biblical tools that produce lasting transformation, and enlighten them with truth that leads to freedom.
If you're here because something deep within you knows there has to be more, more healing, more freedom, more clarity, more purpose, more of God, then I want you to know that you are in the right place.
I believe that every woman has a God-given identity that exists beneath the labels, wounds, disappointments, and coverings she has accumulated throughout her life. My calling is to help women uncover that identity, embrace it fully, and live from it with confidence and conviction.
So welcome.
I am honored that you're here, and if God has led you to this place, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you discover the woman He created you to be all along.
